I'd compliment you on your work, but unfortunately for you, I too have found the tutorial and online resources to make this exact same game (same dimensions, gameplay, andeven the way the ground flashes red when hit).
If you'd added some original elements to this game, building on top of the gameplay of the original (not just the visuals - nice job though), then it would be worth a higher score.
Don't stop using online resources such as tutorials or source files- they help learning flash and actionscript more than any book has helped me!

"An excellent sprite movie"

Well, there's not much more to say than 'excellent'

The writing was fantastic, better than most things that Sonic team have ever come up with.

The animation of the sprites was definitely the smoothest sprite animation I have seen in a while.

The music felt very fitting (except the end credits song, but that's personal preference).

You really have me anticipating the next episode very much! Keep it up!

Plenty of spelling errors, and there was an obvious lack of attention to detail. Why was every piece of text selectable? I obviously know why, I'm just saying that that doesn't make for a professional looking film. I like the song so that's bumped up your review score, but I'm afraid I don't see this film going very far, sorry about the last film of yours that was blammed by the way, c'est la vie!

"Your shoes are the wrong colour"

That was, as usual, the funniest sonic based film i've seen for a long time, you are constantly successful and manage to fit in the funniest cultural references. Only you could mix the mighty poo with you can fly :p
And this week has proven to be a great one, Sonic is in Brawl, I get a job at GAME, and you released another hilarious film. Cudos!

It has a decent presentation, but I'm afraid it is too simple and repetative to gain any decent score, plus it is wide open to cheating (pressing tab to highlight the button, then holding down space). Put more effort and originality into future games!

nice game, i undersand how achieving it feels to write even the simplest of games.
Problems with this game include;
Music got on my nerves after initially likeing it (sorry!)
Menu buttons annoyingly in the way of the paddle
Collision with bat was hardly realistic or expected, deterring from the fun
Bad graphical quality
Needlessly large file for the game (compress or edit your music!)
More time needed. 'Ultimate' is hardly a worthy expression at the moment :/

Keep working and dedicating more time to the programming and graphical quality! - needs to be tidied up too.

could use a replay button! But that's not too important

The style is very original and I like the poem. It'd be really effective getting a more emotive person reading it (and I'm not talking Vincent Price standard, although that'd be awesome).
The characters are very nicely presented, but the backgrounds don't suit the characters. Especially at the begining, you need to detail them beter, use thin lines, not great big thick scribbles, although some were alright.

I'd like to see more. :)

such a simple little thing, the amazing thing is how it draws you into what the heck is going on, so, there's a zombie - but wait, there's lots of zombies! That crashed satelite must have caused it - look, some humans hiding, and - oh my! Simon Pegg and the umbrella corperation. Absolutely hilarious at the end - The only downer is the sound.
