I'd compliment you on your work, but unfortunately for you, I too have found the tutorial and online resources to make this exact same game (same dimensions, gameplay, andeven the way the ground flashes red when hit).
If you'd added some original elements to this game, building on top of the gameplay of the original (not just the visuals - nice job though), then it would be worth a higher score.
Don't stop using online resources such as tutorials or source files- they help learning flash and actionscript more than any book has helped me!

"An excellent sprite movie"

Well, there's not much more to say than 'excellent'

The writing was fantastic, better than most things that Sonic team have ever come up with.

The animation of the sprites was definitely the smoothest sprite animation I have seen in a while.

The music felt very fitting (except the end credits song, but that's personal preference).

You really have me anticipating the next episode very much! Keep it up!

Plenty of spelling errors, and there was an obvious lack of attention to detail. Why was every piece of text selectable? I obviously know why, I'm just saying that that doesn't make for a professional looking film. I like the song so that's bumped up your review score, but I'm afraid I don't see this film going very far, sorry about the last film of yours that was blammed by the way, c'est la vie!
